ANIKA PATEL

Financial Engineering, CS, & Business

About me:

Hi, I’m Anika Patel, a Financial Engineering graduate student at USC from Orange County, CA, merging my BS in Computer Science and Business Administration with a passion for unconventional problem-solving.

On my Substack, I explore how diverse fields collide with finance—like using hurricane forecasts to predict energy futures or applying quantum physics principles to market turbulence.

My goals are driven by my passion for interdisciplinary collaboration, creative problem solving, financial engineering, probability and statistics, software engineering, machine learning, and new emerging technologies.

Some of my other interests include fashion, luxury, design, writing, reading, board games, chess, golf, travel, and coffee :)

I believe the best innovations thrive where disciplines collide, and I strive to bring that ethos to every project I approach.
